- The Thorson Company, was established in 1957 and grew to cover the eleven western states.
- Thorson Company Northwest was created in 1978 when George Thorson retired and sold his business to key employees in each market area.
- All operations of Thorson Company Northwest relating to the representation of semiconductor manufacturers were transferred to Thorson Pacific on December 31, 1994.
- Thorson Pacific was Incorporated in Oregon in October, 1994.
- Thorson Pacific is completely independent of all other Thorson organizations.
